Just want to say congrats to all the competitors from team Serra BJJ who competed today at the Renzo Gracie Invitationals. We had a bunch of guys competing. Everyone performed well, win or lose.
Just to name a few of the highlights, we had Abe Finkler with a stellar performance. Abe defeated 5 opponents to take home the gold medal. This was Abe's second tournament, and for the second time, he takes the gold.
Next up we had Stevie "Strangler" Squires. Stevie is only 15 years old, and is already reeking havok on the mats. This too was his second tournament and his second time taking gold. So far he has won every match by submission and in devastating fashion.
Stevie Stones was yet another highlight who dominated two of his three opponents for the night. Although he lost his third match, Steve competed like a champ. Picture perfect takedowns and excellent positional transitions, Stevie Stones keeps getting better and better fast!
Congrats also to everyone who competed as well. Everyone made the team very proud, and it was a pleasure to see all of your hard work displayed on the mats!
