question about competing 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 2
what's up guys i have a pretty simple question....we all are so considerate to each other if one happens to get their partner in a submission we let go as soon as they tap for the sake of not braking or putting the person to sleep. Now here's my question should i have the same consideration at the tournament if i'm NASTY enough to pull one off or should i hold untill the ref stops it as in MMA events?

I vote for full power submission attempt & letting them tap out, feel your victory! Good Luck! Wish I could be there

In all seriousness though, if you get a submission, apply it. It's the responsibility of your opponent to tap so he doesn't get hurt unnecessarily. You don't have to crank at it without giving him the chance to tap, but you can apply it securely with a certain level of control.
