I just had some "Molluscum contagiosum" burned off my neck with liquid nitrogen. So i know the infection is dead and gone and im not contagious. But the doctor says the burns need 2 weeks to heal. Does anyone know if i can come back and start training sooner than two weeks or if i should just wait out the two weeks..id really like to come back sooner because i was misdiagnosed and missed two weeks already

btw Sensei Mike, you were right about the treatment and the first doctor was wrong

i would wait it out just beacause you would deffinatly rather two weeks then it getting worse and be out longer

true, training too early could actually set me back further. and i wouldnt wanna jump the gun and risk passing an infection to anyone else..i just miss jiu jitsu so much, ive got so much free time now..i started reading Stephen Hawkings book "A Briefer History of Time" its really good, but does anyone know of any good BJJ books to pick up, i wanna keep my game sharp while i cant physically train.

Robert Smith, Martial Musings (This is a very thought-provoking memoirs by a martial artist well versed in several martial arts; he devotes a section to Kimura v. Helio Gracie)

Also, the following would be a good way to spend time while you recover:

Victory Hugo, Les Miserable [Penguin edition (good translation), not the Signet edition (bad translation)].

I also recommend (if you do not already have) that you watch UFC 69.

It has Serra-Longo triple header (Cummo, Sell, Serra) plus a crazy fight between Imes and Herring.
