I’ve been training clients for over 10 years and there are some habits that my most successful clients seem to adopt. One habit they do not have is severely restricting themselves of calories. And this doesn’t take long to occur. Furthermore, the more you restrict calories, the more your metabolism is lowered. This is your body’s way of protecting you from starvation.

The East Meadow Serra BJJ school is getting more colorful!

Congrats to Bo Suh for receiving his much deserved brown belt earlier this week. Bo has been training extremely hard and his efforts have certainly paid off. Bo has been doing really well in recent competition and is a great example to all of our students on and off the mat. If you get the chance, be sure to take one of his classes because he is also an excellent instructor.

Big congrats also goes to Chris “no gi” Papaganakis for receiving his purple belt.. Although Chris prefers to train without the gi and is a regular staple in the wrestling class, he has recently started training much more with the gi, which has tightened his game even further.

Congrats again to Bo and Chris. Your hard work and dedication are appreciated!
