Now that the smoke has cleared, just wanted to say congrats to Matt Serra. He fought like a champ. He was able to nullify Hughes' game which many thought wasn't going to happen. He was impressive as usual standing up and did a great job defending the passes. At the end it was nice to see both guys put aside their feelings and show respect to one another as fighters. Although he wasn't given the win, Matt Serra made a lot of new fans and once again proved many others wrong. He made us all very proud as a fighter, teacher, and mentor.

Now I hope Matt Serra can show us that foot sweep in the next class!

Agreed, I was proud to watch the fight with my friends and see Matt do as well as he did. You could even argue he won that fight. I'm happy he got a bonus for the fight too.

All I can say is "WOW!" I couldn't sit the entire fight!
As always sensei Matt brings everything into the octagon...awesome stand up, slick submission attempts, and a true gentlemen after the decision (as bad as it was).
